Ranch Road's silhouette isn't as aggressive, but it's an elevated heel and features a stitched on sole.

I'm glad they provide a measurement for the shaft circumference. Such an underrated measurement.

Think I found the ones... don’t know why I forgot about buttero...

I have these in a waxed suede. Fwiw I only went down a half size and it was the right call. The shaft/instep is tight, and there's a strong taper towards the toe. It's a wonderful shape and a wonderful boot.

I'd go with either these or rmw

Agree with this, I found the instep pretty tight. Also get a shoe horn

Quentins are great.

Don't size down if you are a full size. Maybe size down if you are a half size.

I sized down from US 10 to US 9 and realized after a few weeks that I made a mistake. I now have 3 Quentins in the proper US 10 size (black suede, black calf, taupe suede). If anyone is looking for black suede Quentin in US 9 haha.....

Not sure about the US sizes, where did you buy from? I'm a US10 and went with 42.5

I’m definitely going to go with buttero... I’ve heard some bad things about R.M. lately...

also feel like ranch road is probably not the quality I’m looking for and reminds me of like Thursday boots

Agree @DLester. I always size down to 42 (from my usual 43) in all other buttero... but I’m a 43 in the Quentin.
