this same sentiment could be carried over to pretty much everything that goes on here. The reason people want those shoes is the same reason they want Lemaire and dries. It’s not the way in which it affects their lives it’s the way in which it makes them feel.

i'm generally for this sentiment but have to differ here. with the next% it will probably make them weird, i felt weird in them and i consider my self a more dedicated runner than most. the shoes have an awkward stance if you aren't actually running, walking feels unnatural because the shoe geometry. they are incredibly rigid and the upper is a paper thin ripstop. also they aren't durable at all. best you can expect is maybe 100-150 miles in them, for $250 that doesn't square unless you don't care about money or are incredibly serious about running.

they're better off exploring the less extreme examples that nike has out, either the pegasus turbo or the zoomfly versions. or maybe the new infinity run which has a lot of the same foam but no carbon plate and a more standard upper.

mine is 3 years old, no way I'm going to the changing room, it's just going to take forever, so the true and tried, free shipping and return...

i've found a size up or two (depending on your kid) in normal stuff (t shirts, jeans, etc) helps extend the life over cost thing. so maybe 4T for your stuff. fit doesn't need to be perfect, they don't care as long as it's something they like. my kid has stuff that is too small or too big that constantly gets requested.

Honestly, I find 40-55 to be about as comfortable as it gets. With a small heat lamp, 50 is about as great as it gets for sitting outside at night with just a tee and a jacket. Did this in Rome a few weeks ago, drinking Negronis. Basically only a few people around during low season. As good as it gets.

I’d agree that most people should probably explore other options if they’re just casually running a few miles here or there and they do feel weird when you’re not running... but otherwise I’m going to have to disagree with you.
In my experience (I’ve run multiple marathons and halfs in both the 4% and the next%, and have a bunch of friends that race in them) they’ve worked for people at a variety of ability levels and stride types. Also they’re plenty durable for a racing shoe, I have about 300mi on my older pair and they’re still going.

The hype around Drake's is sorta funny, they have hype pieces like the fleece every season, people fighting for scraps at 50%+ off. I think it's especially funny because you know the people who shop at Drake's **** on streetwear trends and usually avoid them at all costs

They had two overcoats at Pitti that were legit awesome, especially the balmacaan. Which now that I think about it, is styled similarly to the KS Traveler Coat.

Their polo coat was bonkers, complete with flapped breast pocket. But I think I was so overtaken by the fuzziness that I wasn't thinking of how it would fit into my wardrobe. Kinda like teddy bear overcoats.

A lot of Drakes stuff is repurposing trends to a CM audience. That's not to say it isn't innovative, but some guys just want a whiff of dat streetwear vibe since they struggle to see themselves in more casual fits.

It’s awful seeing every other person wearing one of those coats , usually along with cropped trousers and extra chunky filas etc
