this same sentiment could be carried over to pretty much everything that goes on here. The reason people want those shoes is the same reason they want Lemaire and dries. It’s not the way in which it affects their lives it’s the way in which it makes them feel.
i'm generally for this sentiment but have to differ here. with the next% it will probably make them weird, i felt weird in them and i consider my self a more dedicated runner than most. the shoes have an awkward stance if you aren't actually running, walking feels unnatural because the shoe geometry. they are incredibly rigid and the upper is a paper thin ripstop. also they aren't durable at all. best you can expect is maybe 100-150 miles in them, for $250 that doesn't square unless you don't care about money or are incredibly serious about running.
they're better off exploring the less extreme examples that nike has out, either the pegasus turbo or the zoomfly versions. or maybe the new infinity run which has a lot of the same foam but no carbon plate and a more standard upper.
