I feel like the rest of this fit is really cool.

Regarding the belt, how did you size it? Belt sizing is a crazy guessing game, I've learned.
This one is 34. It’s a bit long — they reverse it so that the roughout side switches at the end, but since it ends a bit after the buckle, you see it. Not a big deal to me, but just a heads up.

Anyone own some By Walid?

I own a couple of pieces -- the textiles are the standout features, especially the deadstock 19th century fabrics. the brand has been expanding beyond that in the last several seasons to use current fabrics, but still with the patchwork/embroidered aesthetic.

I just ran across it. It looks quite stunning. I fell in love with this mink patchwork parka. Looks quite cozy, and filled with detail. The floral print shirts are more to my liking and much more subdued, which has been difficult to find with similar labels. I could definitely see myself wearing it, with one of the dropcrotch pants.

Yes, I have a coat from By Walid. Great stuff and unique make up. The stitching and embroidery is so intricate that you have to be careful with it (at least I am). Very expensive so the brand is not for the Greg Lauren hating crowd.

I also had a shirt from By Walid, which I did not keep since I did not know how to care for it without bringing it to a specialty dry cleaner. There was no care label on the shirt. I had reached out to the company for care advice a few times, but they never responded.

As cool as the stuff is, I doubt I will pick up another piece.

Yes, ever since the greg lauren thread I was searching for things in a similar aesthetic since I'm more keen on this look lately. Impeccable design, but im not a fan of having to baby clothing. I guess you are a walking museum piece

I've been thinking about pairing it with the usual artisanal labels.
