Any brands to recommend for a good loopwheeled repro sweatshirt? Is Real McCoy the standard issue?

I find they all fit slightly differently and have slightly different materials. I remember Strike Gold being super heavy, although it's been a few years since I shopped for one. I ended up going with Buzz Rickson. Fabric is medium weight and manageable but still feels stout. Also has a good "classic" fit. Ribbed hem stays tight.

Self Edge has a bunch of these from different brands (BR included, and probably RM and SG). You can always go there and just see which you like best. I've been super happy with my BR sweatshirt, FWIW.

not repro, but: 3sixteen makes one with hand pockets in a super heavy fleece back cotton that i like.

also paa has a nice one with an 80’s drop shoulder and a wide fit.

The HD pants are incredibly voluminous. Very hard to wear in real life.

EG Balloon trousers have a better silhouette, are more wearable, yet still achieve the effect you are likely going for.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a lightweight, long raincoat? I’m thinking specifically about something that can handle hot and humid monsoonal rains during Houston summers. I’ve seen a lot of good raincoat options, but most have a little lining for cooler temps. I’m not so interested in Patagonia and the like - more along the lines of something I can bring to the office and not look out of place.
This showed up at Barneys. Seems a bit pricey for techwear but looks nice.

Kind of related to the whole discussion here, I work in finance and one of my coworkers (total math nerd who dresses like it and does financial modelling all day long), started covering HKG: 0150 (Hypebeast) as his model suggested it as a potential buy.

He has no prior experience with the fashion industry and started surfing Hypebeast to check out what the business model is like.

It is absolutely hilarious to see his reaction to this whole new world of $5000 Supreme skateboards. Each breathless HB forward from him "PEOPLE BUY THIS STUFF??" is a gem in my daily routine.

I have both RMC and BR, and prefer BR personally for the fit. They're both excellently constructed, loopwheeled.
