I may be in the minority, but I actually don't find this to be that unusual, nor distressing. The guy is essentially acting as a broker, albeit probably in an informal capacity. But we use brokers for houses, for all types of rare collectibles, etc... And it takes time. Why should this guy not be compensated for his time? Maybe write him back and tell him that you can go a bit lower, but not that much, and what is his limit. That way, you force him to set a price, rather than having to guess at his. He has nothing to lose.

i thought it was a funny request. But i already did what you suggested. His biggest issue is the shipping, guy is overseas and i politely gave him my lowest offer for that. He said no so i'm going to be patient.

Interesting article about new “hypewear” shop in San Francisco

http://www.sfchronicle.com/style/article/Hypewear-steps-up-with-Steve-Stoute-s-Stashed-12508588.php

"Stoute wants Stashed to be part of that new wave of democracy."

Yes, the same wave of democracy that has dicked SF's black residents around for decades, stuffing them into toxic neighborhoods like Bayview-HP and then kicking them out to Fairfield, Antioch, and beyond. I think I can even smell that democracy, and it reeks like its full of the piss and **** of underpass encampments. Funny enough, it's not just their story (their ~*brand*~) that's ****; the clothing selection is garden variety hypebeast crap too.

At least Stashed could have attributed the William Gibson quote they have on their website ("The street find its own uses for things").

How did I not know Alexander Kraft did a menswear Rake fantasy electro pop song?

That's pretty much how I imagine he spends his days.

Kraft is a really interesting guy. He's Swiss but went to law school at UCSD if I recall correctly. (I interviewed him an article some years ago). Impeccable manners, very personable, and very enthusiastic about his enthusiasms (high end real estate, clothes, vintage cars, music and god knows what else). That's his wife in the video.

As for his style, I think he would benefit from letting his clothes out just a smidge though the gray suit looks good.

Payment is the same, just through PayPal as per usual. The upgraded payment system was only for Sellers.
