Don't have any photo examples, but a lot of that super wide E. Tautz and Lemaire stuff, while I love it, does make you look a bit heavy. Unless you're just a super thin and attractive model. Lots of "what you think you look like" reality checks.

I wear some vintage length pleated shorts and they don't make me look fat, cause you get to see my chicken legs. Maybe yours are the wrong size?

I’m 5’9 and up 15 lbs from marriage — so actually fat. But untucked, I do look like a square compared to modern cuts. I think pleats look better (or more intentional) with a tucked shirt, but you have to be real slim.

Agree with dww — even when in shape, I pictured a character from GLOW, but it ended up with the fedora effect.

Thankfully, Polo Big Shirts are still a different story. :p

Guys, is Yoox still worth trolling for great deals? I used to check Yoox very regularly (2 years+ ago), sorting by new arrivals or otherwise taking some deeper dives, and usually finding some goodies on a regular basis. Is that still the case, or are the really good deals exceedingly rare now?

Not fashion related, but lots of travel guys in here-
Planning to do an extended Italy trip next year, is there a recommended fly in airport/progression route?
(ie fly in Milan/Venice and go south or fly in Rome/Naples and go north?

Are you going to fly in and out of the same airport, and what time of year do you plan to go. ime, try to avoid Italy in the summer months. It's blazing hot in the cities, AC is considered somewhat optional, it's expensive, and especially in Rome and Venice, you'll be borne upon a sea of other tourists. My personal preference would be to fly into Milan, go south, then back North.

Going early May 2019. Doesn’t need to be the same airport- nothing set in stone yet.
