How did some of these people remove (or put on) their pants? They are so narrow at the opening I don't think I could get them around my ankle.

So I’m kinda digging these blue boots. They’re Cayman Tecovas made in Mexico don’t know about quality. What’s the sf consensus on these?

Caiman is the cheapest of Crocodilia skins. I do like the blue color (though in practice in the past, I've found blue shoes hard to pair), but I've never liked the bumpy texture of caiman skin.

I’ve got this blue Margiela suede Santiags I pair with white/blue jeans but would love a dark navy. I’m not into any type of “exotic” skins or anything but that color of the Tecovas is what I was looking for.

If anyone knows of some nice non dressy navy side zips let me get the link!

i'm against blue shoes and a caiman cowboy boot feels too Texas for me but i think you can pull it off.

re: tecovas in general: i'm happy enough with my tecovas pair. would buy something from them again, but i'm not 100 on their materials. i'm probably going to stick to their suede in the future over their smooth leathers.

Carmina have MTO option for a sidezip in navy calf, with cuban heel options etc.

Edit: quick mock up with navy calf (looks almost black, no idea IRL), double leather sole with cuban heel in black.
