no I don't take my phone shopping .

yes , japan was on sale last year and cannibalized domestic retailers . I myself bought two bass guitars with jdm serials from an American wholesaler last year . that doesn't mean that I slag American retailers , in a post-pandemic environment no less . bravo you .

and ZOMG YES : retail is middleman . self edge sold ROY back when . you'd think there'd be a bit of grace from relentless lowest common denominator opportunism , meanwhile this guy's got his phone out in the shop . truly shameful ngl .
Jesus you communicate like a ******* tiktok 15 year old.

Question for the leathercraftsman in this thread.
I have this belt from Sid Mashburn and I switched out the buckle for a silver one. However, it now bothers tf out of me that the snaps and belt are mismatched. Is it possible to switch the snaps out without damaging the belt? Or just paint them brown to match the belt?

Yes it is possible, but probably not worth the effort, since the tail of the belt should cover the hardware when wearing the belt. If you want to do it, you'll need to pry off the snaps carefully, and find the same size snaps from Tandy or Amazon in whatever color you want, as well as a rivet/snap setter and anvil.

Try these guys. They seem to have a good selection.

Btw, nominations for "hard selfie taker" status other than @RegisDB9 , who already got it as the well deserved first.

i think i deserve this title for the sheer irony of it all

Stylefarmers indignantly (re)discovering the relationship between clothes and capitalism is one of my favourite genres, along with voters being shocked when the Leopards Will Eat Your Face party they voted into power starts eating their faces.

Say more.

What is a hard selfie.

If you know my posting history you know I’m close to my dad and have actively tried to get him to go full Margiela for years now and have been mildly successful…yet the other day he was looking for some new jeans and mentions to me that back in the late 70’s, early 80’s in Cuba you weren’t anyone unless you had a pair of Lois jeans. Apparently he would wash his by hand and hang dry on his roof……annnd watching it dry to make sure no one stole it haha. I look it up and to his surprise the brand is still going. I’ve never heard of it, made in Spain, looks pretty well made. Long story short pops feels like he’s 23 again

Also seems like love for Cuban heel boots (or as they say in Cuba…Hollywood heels heh) is hereditary

Jaded? Nah. I didn't criticize the leathers, did I? They had what they had and if I was looking to buy, they had a few pieces that were great.

I just feel like they seem to have invested so much on the bad ass sign outside, walking in feels like they ran out of budget. Literally devoid of any personality, unlike what I've seen of pictures of their California stores.
The location isn’t high traffic for retail so there is a bit of a spotlight on you as a customer. I took my time and chatted up the staff as I hung out- it doesn’t feel like a super relaxed browsing experience but that can true of lots of places. I think the store is actually a little too big and it’s hard to know where to start/focus. I bought online before they came here and have bought a couple things in the store since they opened and will again probably. Mostly though it’s too f*cking hot for jeans and flannels here. That said, you seem disproportionately upset about visiting a clothing store and come across as possibly intolerant or intimidated by…not sure what? Maybe try swinging through again and slogging through the fight or flight feelings.
