yeah I would not use body measurements ever, I've got some weird ones that the machines would probably not believe

(not like that)

I had a dream last night that I sold an Inverallan sweater to Jason Bateman and I just happened to be in Little Rock, AR, where he lived. So, I thought I would hand deliver it to him. He was super nice and wanted to show me his extensive Lego collection. At one point, he had to take a call and left me to chat with his wife. She made some comment about me being another one of his nerd friends from the internet, so I left.

odd -- you should be able to enter garment measurements. Isn't this what you see (3rd option) if you begin to customize a pair of trousers?

I had to go to my profile and click on size profiles, then trousers and finally create new size to find the “measure a trousers” option. I’ll follow the instructional videos and give Collaro a try. Thanks!

As a resident, that term makes me think of flip flops with jeans, which puts me in a Hulk rage...
I'm thinking more faded black denim and lounge pants, tees and sweats in taupes and neutrals, slip ons and chucks and just easy fashion. Stuff that you can shake sand out of easily. James Perse with Good Art comes to mind immediately, but you don't have to be so cohesive. Sort of a counter by early James Perse to his father Tommy Perse's hyper fashion Maxfield look. Much more in the mode of the old Ron Herman at Fred Segal vibe.

x-posting in a couple of threads to reach more folks. Thanks for your understanding.

For folks in the Bay Area, we are working on a meetup over the next month or so (date TBD) at Tailor's Keep in Palo Alto. You can read more in this post. Please respond to the post in the San Francisco Area Members thread if you are interested.

Anyone have experience with Moonstar shoes?

Size 9 seems to be too long, but fits width wise. Size 8 seems to be too small altogether. No half sizes. Wondering if size 8 will stretch enough in the width to be comfortable.

I am leaning size 9 because fits well with thick socks, too. Thinner socks including Uniqlo is fine. Reminds me of when I use to wear Vans where the overall fit is just on the looser end.

I have those exact shoes in a different color and went with my usual size. They’re definitely a little long and pointy in the toe but otherwise fit well.

In my aging way I think I prefer looser footwear compared to snug and tight. Size 9 it is. I guess they’re sneakers after all and not loafers or dress shoes.
