Does anyone have some tips for taking a little volume out of a pair of loafers to stop heel slip? Add some padding to the instep? Put an insole in?
I have a pair similar to these in a pair of loafers that had some heel slippage. Didn't totally alleviate the issue as I suspect sizing down ½ a size would, but they do help. The suede helps making them grippy.

This is at USU?!
Yes, sir! We have a huge archive of outdoor gear catalogs and one of the guys from Beams is writing a book about his collection of vintage TNF outerwear. We just so happen to have every TNF catalog that was printed 😎

I love the silhouettes of modern TNF. I really do wish that the would go back to the bombproof materials that they were famous for in the 90s that made them a go to for performance clothing then though.

The best part is, we’ll follow with a trip to Japan in February to help him exhibit his collection with the catalogs!

Hate to say it, but TNF is about 90% fashion these days.

Always wanted an o-ring belt
Where’s a good place to start looking for one similar to this one in various colors?

Tangentially, is Etsy a good place to shop for one off goods like the above type of belt? Or still hit or miss.

I know the capsule closet has been discussed before. Owning less etc. anyone follow that btw?

My current thought is about organizing one’s closet. Does anyone organize their dresser so that the top and bottom of an outfit/ set up is put away together so you can easily pull it out again to wear ie like a suit? What about taking it one step further and collating it all together with outerwear and shoes? Like outfits 1-7 for the week. Then, summer and fall.

Where the capsule closet comes back to the fray is having such a tight collection makes it simple to grab whatever and it’ll work seamlessly. I feel the bigger the closet the more you end up experimenting for better or worse.

To that end, this isn’t about buying more or less. Practically speaking, how to make it easier to pull and outfit from the closet depending on the day and weather so that it becomes inherently you. Like the discussion of why cartoon characters are always wearing the same outfit ie that’s part of the ethos.

This is a decent idea and something I could easily do Monday - Thursday. Just a white OCBD and jeans is usually what I wear.

I’ll have to meditate on this idea some more

On another note, any recommendations for linen or summer weight beanies? Inis Meain seems hard to come by now. I see some from Beams. What else?
