Looking for a large black leather tote as a holiday gift for my girlfriend.

Doesn't need to have a zipper, large enough for a laptop, make up bag and some gym clothes is ideal. Trying to keep budget under $400 or so. She doesn’t like overt branding.

If anyone has any ideas would appreciate it!

I’d recommend you check out Billykirk https://www.billykirk.com/collections/totes
25% this weekend, too, so you could go a bit above your range

Orox Leather makes cool stuff: https://www.oroxleather.com/collections/totes-1

Dope company based in Portland, OR. Good people. I just recently bought my wife a bag from them.

Tbf I think while Kyle looks great he is wearing either a very beefy and high mockneck or more of a turtleneck. Most mocknecks are a more of a brushed t shirt weight and could look off with a suit, esp a winter weight one.

Thanks! For the record in case it helps anyone trying this out, this one is really thin, and maybe the photo is misleading. It's a very fine merino and thinner than the brushed cotton type ones I've had.

I like Billy Kirk, but the designs and construction and finishing of Esde is way better:

Camoshita? Wow that mockneck looks so much more structured in the fit pic compared to the product shot.

Yup, Camoshita! I guess mirror selfies aren't ideal

Hey @LA Guy - is there a SF Secret Santa thread this year? I didn’t see one.

@PhilKenSebben turned me on to it last year and it was a lot of fun.

You gotta ask @Jr Mouse about that one!

I think I missed it last year, but would love to join this year's!

all i want for secret santa is for @Jr Mouse 's username to be changed to @realtedcruz

I like Poglia bags a lot...this is $450, so just outside your budget.

Dyeing (Mohair) wool trousers, what preparation(s) will I need to do, naturally take off the buttons, do I need to take off the fly as well?

The color change itself shouldn't be too hard to achieve (dark blue to black)
