Pretty wild. I wonder how attribution of this type of thing even works in internet space. I mean, this is a case about which we know the origins, but finding out the origin of specific myths, memes, urban legends, etc… is a full time job for an army of ethnographers.He just reposted a story from some account that posted all of Derek’s thread, just without his name on top. Exactly. It's not like Derek credits his posts each time he uses a meme or something. And no one expects him to either. Most of the time it's just not done.
