How do these size?
It was between the Kapital Navy Supply Boots and these Viberg x Division Road side-zips, but after it appears Kapital doesn't go above a size '4', it looks like these are the frontrunners.

I imagine these may be divisive. My main concern is the Dainite studded sole – I've had one pair of dress shoes with this sole and while I did find them okay for rainy days, they were a bit uncomfortable over long periods of wear. I'm also aware that many have opinions about how they perform in certain slick or icy conditions.

This is still a question I have, just in case.

Do they in fact go above a size '4'? I'm guessing I would be between a 5 and a 6.

I'm a 9D on the Brannock and took a size 3 in the Kapital side-zips. I think the sizing for those goes:

Kapital size = Brannock size
2 = 8
3 = 9
4 = 10

They're kind of roomy, so if you're between sizes, I would take the size down. So if you're a 9.5 on the Brannock, I would do a size 3 in those shoes.

No idea if they go above a 4.

You know I've tried a 4 before and it fit me just fine. I'm an 11.5, I would still try before you buy though. I can go to the shop maybe later tomorrow and try on the size and let you know the current fit though

Are you an 11.5 as in that's what you commonly wear in boots? I'm an 11-11.5 in boots generally, but that's because I have narrow feet. I'm somewhere between a 12 and 13 on the Brannock.

FYI, from Aria at Cotton Sheep:

"We do not order individual items by request as a proxy service. We are a official reseller boutique meaning we order a whole collection during the showroom and the collection arrives around 6-8 months later.

Size 4 is the largest shoes currently made by Kapital :( They are definitely quite small by American shoe standards."

There's also Guidi, which @LA Guy might be able to speak to:

I don't know but I wear a 12 in almost all sneakers, 7 in hender scheme, 11/11.5 in most boots. Alden barrie/van is 11. The persimmon overdyed Kapital side zip in a 4 worked for me, the mountain boot was like 1cm too small in length which still saddens me to this day.

Also I think rough out guidi's like the one released with nonnative are very easily put into more foreward thinking workwear. Not straight repro for sure, but it could be a cool directional work style.

You are going to fit into very few Guidi boots. I am a size 11 most of the time, but take size 45 in that model of Guidi, and it’s still snug. Get some Visvim 7 holes or non native by officine Creative instead. Your feet will thank you, and the style is maybe more congruent.

This complicates things. Of course I don't want to order and find out they don’t work.

It me, I’m the one with the inquiry. But yea, it sounds like Guidi would be too small for me as well.

Amazon sells "Clone a Willy" kits. Buy a kit and use it to form a mold of your foot. Then send the rubbery mold to Kapital and tell them to put it into a size 4 shoe. If it fits, then so should your foot.

Mild flex. Found these new s21m in “very dark brown waxed suede” on the bay for a reasonable price. These are a bit more structured than guidi. I think they can work outside an artisanal context. Anyone know what the leather is on these? Ill find out soon but just curious. Went tts, hopefully they pan out.

Leather looks like waxed flesh?
