Thanks, was reading some reviews and it seemed like people sized up. I hope these keep me cozy at home, I have like five layers on right now.

I’d imagine at least part of the valuation has to do with Supreme’s having no current physical presence in China, where I’m fairly certain there’s quite an insane demand. Still though, it’s hard to avoid the sense that someone will be stuck with a very hot potato. Especially with Carlyle having made their exit.

I have two camber hoodies, from wooden sleepers, and get mine TTS. They're pretty big when you get them and shrink down to size with a hot wash or two.

Both a bit of a crapshoot, often turns up looking a lot greyer or browner than the photos indicate. Looking for the warmer end of things that looks almost like a pale yellow or pink.

This one from Asket looks promising but I'm taken aback that none of the cheaper retailers seem to have anything like the colour I'm after.
You might try Onno's hemp or bamboo shirts. The "natural" color is yellowish. Here's a couple hemp ones on a white cotton one for contrast:

I appreciate all of the well wishes from a couple of days ago. I should be talking to my psychiatrist Thursday, which we’ll see how that goes.

I have a ton of issues letting go of people who cut me off/letting go in general lol. I always try to fix things even when it’s clear there’s no fixing to be done.

Thanks for the suggestion, although my Asket order arrived today and their colour is pretty much the ideal vanilla ice cream shade I've been after. Shown here with a white Uniqlo U tee, obviously hard to tell what the actual colour is from the photo but it's definitely more cream than beige.

They may still work for you, depending on your expectations.

Well, I've also been looking at Dr. Martens also, so my expectations aren't sky high.

On topic: Lanvin seems to have revamped their site and no longer deliver to, in Europe that is, except to certain locations.

Ass.

this is going to sound incredibly corny but...

does anyone have advice for forgetting specific pieces of information? i've basically went perusing the internet and found contact info on people that don't have me in their lives anymore. this person in particular, i have nothing against, and yet i still fear that in a state of anxiety i might want to reach out to them or something. it'd be nothing but self serving.

i sometimes think a lot of my issues are just left over resentment. i want to be able to let go of **** and put it permanently into rest.

If you’re financially OK, therapy (shop around, find the right fit) + exercise (running, yoga, weights, being a farmer or mechanic as your day job, whatever) + mindfulness practice of some kind (slower yoga, walking, meditating). It’s a different mix for everyone, but at the end of the day, every culture has a chicken and rice dish of some kind. Maintaining basic mental/emotional equilibrium is kind of the same.

If financially struggling, all of the above, minus the therapy for now.

As someone who has been there, find a mechanical or locomotive hobby that does not require you to spend money. If you are in a seasonal part of the U.S., take advantage of outside before it gets cold. Parks and green spaces are your friend.

If there any museums in your area, you will find most of them to be almost completely empty given that they are largely dependent on tourists. They are incredible spaces for meditation and letting the mind roam. Learn to give yourself permission to be someone else.

I'll definitely have to check this movie out.

I am currently in therapy (actually just got off w/ her 5 mins ago). I am supposed to be trying a lot of the stuff you mentioned, but honestly I've just been ******* up and making things worse for myself as of late, hence finding that piece of contact info yesterday.

I need to do better on this front. I can't keep lying to myself thinking I'm trying when all I do is succumb to my ****** compulsions and sulk.

Most definitely. I get really depressed around this time of year. I wish there was more greenery in Texas though.

I'll definitely try that. I live in Dallas, and there's a couple of relatively big museums nearby.

I appreciate all the suggestions.

I lived in Dallas for some time so I know how dreary it can get around this time of year. I made it a point to run more than once per week even if it was cold AF and windy. It wasn't always fun and I didn't do it everyday but it definitely helped clear my mind whenever I got out there. Not everyone likes running, but I'd imagine some form of movement coupled with being outside is good for the mind plus running is free!

As far as forgetting things/the past, reading The Power of Now made a big difference for me. Placing more of an emphasis on where you want to be in life, how you can improve in the current moment, whatever hobbies you're interested, and just being mindful overall can shift your mind from focusing on things you don't want to towards things that are more beneficial to you. It's not easy all the time, but it takes a little bit of effort and it can pay dividends down the road. I'm not a therapist and I may have told you things you've already heard but this really helped me.
