A fellow student in one of my design classes asked me how long I’ve owned my (50 year-old) motorcycle. When I told him 20 years, his jaw dropped, likely because that is longer than he’s been alive.I've just had a horrible thought that when I bought the hat I was wearing yesterday, a fair few of you weren't even born yet...
A couple years ago I had way too much time on my hands and made an Airtable database. I've since abandoned it, but it was handy for keeping track of what I had in storage vs what I had in my closet. It also made reselling things very easy, since I saved the original product photos and descriptions for everything (and sometimes measurements) in the database.I was bored one day and talllied up all my clothes in a quasi spreadsheet. All it did was remind me of how much I've spent on clothes. And that I have way too many brown shoes.
I recently pulled my Bar Mitzvah pen out of the drawer in which it has languished for many years and have been using it regularly, which gives me great joy.
