Thanksgiving Day shoes...

Pretty casual this year - navy/espresso shell boat shoes. Mainly wearing them to break-in although they are surprisingly comfortable out of the box.

Boat shoes and argyle socks - that's a Dad outfit if ever there was one!

IMHO it is very slippery on smooth wet surfaces. Think like slippery ice. This is the only down side.
On dry surfaces it is the most comfortable sole I have ever worn.
I have a pair of Rangers with the RLH Crepe soles too. They are not slippery on wet surfaces but the extra thickness beneath the heel causes me to bounce when I walk. Really messes with my gait.

I ordered a pair of dark brown pinch pennies (Eastport), which will be my final Rancourt purchase for many years, though some pairs will be sent in for resoling. They should come in shortly after the holidays.

I discovered the brand four years ago and put together a list of their shoes I wanted and this is the final pair on that list. I've been supremely pleased with every pair I've ordered. They're one of my favorite brands out there.
