Last summer I got some of the non-spring trees from shoepassion for my CXL loafers. I went with a smaller size… but not quite small enough, so I needed to modify them just a bit to what I thought was the right amount of snugness. They seem to work well though I guess I’ll know more when I bring the loafers out from winter hibernation.

Adjustable snugness sounds really great for handsewns. Will bookmark. Might try them sometime. I feel like what I'm currently doing is probably fine though. It keeps the vamp where it should be which seems good enough.

I have bought from them before and did have a pleasant experience even though the item did not work out for me.

I have a pair of Rancourt King something slippers that I bought from them that I have not worn yet.

I have purchased from them, you will be fine. I even had a problem with a pair of boots and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy....contacted the factory on my behalf and didn't let up until I got what I wanted. Seriously good customer service, so good that they are bookmarked on my web browser, will order from them first if in market for something they carry.

Quick on foot shot of the Huckberry Bison Acadia’s. Note: Huckberry and Rancourt are both great to deal with as there was a quality issue on Rancourt’s end. Both were great and responded immediately and addressed the issue. I received my replacement pair today, which is only a few days after my initial return request. I’d gladly do business with both moving forward. And back to the poor basement photo
