Those are Olive Bulldog leather, and it is patina-ing incredibly. Bulldog is like a CXL pull up, but more variation like Dublin but less shine than either.

Very sharp, cap toe defines them nicely.

@Churchill W how do you like the Montello Mini Lug sole and heel? I’m considering a pair of Danforth shoes with the Montello, and would appreciate your thoughts.

I actually just got the boots back yesterday. Rancourt replaced the captoe on that one boot. Maiden voyage later today. Will have to give it some more wear before I can opine.

They seem comfortable enough on wear 1 and 2. There wasn't too much inclement weather on wear 1 or 2, so I can't really speak to the traction of the sole, but it was fine when I wore them on concrete, stone, and asphalt. I did have a little slip on a stone winding staircase, but that could been more because of the shape of the staircase.

DAMN YOU! Now I need to pre-order another pair of footwear. I was down to only 2 Alden and 1 Grant Stone, then it became 3 Alden, after the GS arrived, and now it looks like it will be 3 Alden, 1 Rancourt

I'm kind of leaning towards the chocolate bison, although the Natty CXL is really nice, but I have a lot of Natty.
