Wow! They look better than advertised! Are those the olive calf? At the preorder pricing, they are a steal. They Brighton my day. (sorrysorrysorry!)

    Tomorrow, I think...

Day Brightoned here, definitely — very happy with how they turned out. These are the brown version, but without the contrast/natural sole edge.

    Edit: Calf, yes!

I tested the limits of MTO on these two tone (olive/tan), with foxing, 10 ounce thick Pamolas. They are the baddest boots in my closet, Iron Man would be proud. Already wearing and thrilled.

They are that. Will be in my rotation to break them in but their duty will eventually be serious weather, rough activity beaters.

They were accommodating my request for an over-thick pair. I think they struggled mightily.

Normally, they receive the material thicker and thin it down for footwear. When I learned that, it struck me to request an ultra thick makeup.

    Olive calf Brightons:

    Edit to add...
I requested an extra eyelet (7) as seen on the right boot, but the left boot has 6. Will see how Rancourt handles...and note back.

Wow. Those both look fantastic. I'm really liking the subtle green to the olive...more than they showed on site.

Same here. On the site, I did not see the olive pretty much...at all, could not tell which was brown which was olive.
IRL olive is far more apparent.

Really happy with Rancourt in 2018, If I had to chose just a few pairs from my closet...
They might all be Rancourt, although a HM and an Indy would round out the top 5!

Would someone mind sharing the details of the gift card promotion, ie when it expires, is there a limit on the savings, is there a code, etc?

Also, how does Rancourt’s 115 last compare to AE’s 65 or GS’s Oliver/Leo lasts? I wear 8.5 EEE in most AE lasts and 8.5 E in GS. Would a EE size in Rancourt’s 115 last fit?

Any comparison to 65 v 115 is same discussion as 65 v AEs 511 last.

Bagley said it. If you can fit into an AE 511 lasted shoe at 8.5EE, then you'll have a good time with Rancourt. Wearing an 8.5E in GS means you might be able to make it work at 9E or 9EE otherwise.

Thoughts on their recent customer service? I emailed them a week ago and never heard back.
