Wanted to wear these once before posting. The material is olive Bulldog, the last is the 555. They fit like a solid version of Maritimes, comfortable and supportive with thicker leather and a solid sole.

First wear tonight around the house and they feel great. Really happy with Scott at Rancourt

These shoes are easily my most worn and favorite warm weather option, with my espresso pinch pennies coming in a close second.

Scott is great. He is running point on V2 of my Porter mod's. But I find Rancourt CS in general to be great. I've yet to have an experience that was anything less than great. Nice shoes BTW.

These are so nice. I ordered their PTB in caramel but the color was very unappealing out of the box. After seeing the anniversary shot of yours, I wish I had been more patient.

Thanks! I wasn't a huge fan of the sometimes milky pink, almost flesh tone they'd take in a some light when new. There were times within the first 2-3 months when I'd look down and get a definite not so fresh feeling.

Now that they've darkened a bit that color has pretty much disappeared, and this shade shot is as close as it gets these days:

I can't get enough of the mini lug sole and its amazing grip and ridiculous comfort straight out of the box.

Just unreasonable expectations on my part. I expected them to look like this shot out of the box. I figured they would get better with wear but given how they looked, I didn't think I would ever wear them. The shade of yours in this pic is just incredible.

Doubtful, they kind of protect their pricing differently than AE.

Agreed! Although, last year they had a 15% off shell coupon. Not a huge difference, but since I usually like to add the old lighter sole they used to use which requires a MTO up charge, every little bit counts.
