Rancaldi?

A couple days ago, I was given a tie as a present. In fact, it was a re-gift - the guy who gave it to me had received it as a present himself, but didn't care for it. Well, that makes two of us.

It's made by a company called Rancaldi (sp?). I've never heard of them, but my friend insists the tie retails for upwards of $300.

I'm curious - has anyone ever heard of them? What's your impression?

I remember a shirtmaker "Pancaldi et B" but they might have gone out of business. What I discovered are ties by the name Pancaldi: www.vitalianopancaldi.com/prodotti.htm Are they the right ones? On the other hand, if you don't like the thing, what does it matter, if it might (or might not) retail at some high price.

Yes - it's Pancaldi, thank you. To answer your question, it doesn't matter in the least how much they retail for, I was just curious about the brand. I found this info, it looks as if they are a bit cheaper, around $100. http://www.pancaldities.com/boutique...ureprints.html Again, not my taste, but someone might like them...
