Ralph Lauren opened up his new store on Prince St. I believe this store largely replaces the one on W Broadway (they may be making the W Broadway a women's or RRL store or something). I got a card in the mail yesterday indicating the store was open, thought I would stop by.

Service was hectic as they apparently had opened on Friday. Guys were handing out sparkling water, iced tea, champagne throughout. The men's floor is on the bottom. Essentially this store doubles the size of the old W Broadway store.

The big addition to the Prince St store is tailored clothing. Suits, blazers, dress shirts, etc were on display. Bigger selection than W Broadway. Still not as much as the Mansion, but it is what it is.

Casual clothes highlights include a nice RRL selection, rows of polos and sweaters, the full collection of shoes (including Darltons), a nice black label section, etc.

I'm pretty happy with how the store looks. Ashley helped me out there yesterday. I got a cashmere cable knit and a pair of shorts. Private sale lasts till Monday. Stop by and pick up a pair of Darltons and a cashmere sweater on discount, maybe some RRL jeans as well, these are what RL does best
