Looking to order a corduroy sport coat off of polo.com and I'm wondering how true the sizing is on these.

I have a couple of Polo blazers and a mainline suit. I've found the blazers and the jacket of the suit to be on the small/snug side of my size, which is 42R. I had to let out the jackets a touch. For some perspective, I'm a dead-on 42R in Zegna, only work being needed on sleeve length.

Good to know, as most brands run too big.

It completely varies from style to style. Polo has many different styles and cuts that all fit quite a bit differently.

Which one is it in particular? I tried on one from the current season at my local Rack and it fit generally too large as a medium, and too snug as a small.

i would agree that there is no predicting. it seems to me that some run big and some run small, every year, and that RL is not afraid to run very big or very small, depending on the current fash-y-uns, so there is no telling without measurements.
