My Newbury jacket is the silk lined one- Made in China . So factory in China and Italy may be using different cuts.

Ah okay, originally I always thought that anyway - but changed my thought when he said the size difference existed

It's possible, i consider Rugby still an experiment of a brand - so i don't take anything to harshly, including sizing.

Yeah this point is important too, since some Newburys are made in Italy and some 'Imported'

I agree with this and I hope that they can keep this brand forever!

    Gents,
Rugby vs BB Fitzgerald Fit how do they compare fit wise ? BB claims they are slim fit with higher armhole. Also they have Cambridge fit . Have any of you hand any experience with them ?
Saturdays - you and I are pretty much the same size. Do you have any BB blazers and any fit comments.
Sorry we don't have any BB in Australia.

My two cents. I have a BB Fitzgerald suit in a 38R and purchased the Rugby tropical wool navy blazer (made in Italy) in the same size for my son. I just tried it on and it definitely has higher armholes and is slimmer in the chest than my BB Fitzgerald suit. I tried a BB Cambridge fit sport coat once at the store and it was similar to Rugby blazer my son has in terms of high armholes and slim chest. I had to size up to a 40R to make it work. Hope this helps...

Sorry BB refuses to help me in stores, I refuse to buy from them. Horrible customer service in some boutiques. They literally ask me to shop their childrens' sizes rather than even offer some of their slimmer fitting lines.

I love BB, and do still buy a few things here and there like their ties - but unless its something I absolutely need and cannot find at RL, I avoid them. I love their classic cologne and ties, everything else I can get elsewhere at better prices.

I do admit though their shirts are nice, but I can never find any that fit me well OTR.

If I ever run into a 36R BB suit I'll probably give it a shot

It was added this morning, I swear!

It was never on the site when I first posted a screenshot from the video, and it wasn't last night when I saw it show up on eBay.

Someone at Rugby is trolling me.

What's the difference between Polo's and Rugby's cashmere 100% cashmere sweaters?

I can't tell the difference between them. Then again I don't own enough cashmere to say one > other, in terms of quality
