I'm thinking of grabbing a shetland shawl collar sweater but I am concerned about sizing. Do people who have sweaters feel their run slim? A sweater that doesn't fit comfortably over a button up is useless to me really. :-/

They would go on sale for like $20 a few years ago. :slayer: Those were the days when literally you could buy every shirt / rugby for $20-25, selvedge jeans at $65, peacoats at $80, etc. Spent all my high school days in all rugby. Sales are pretty random, February is when the clean stock out online, in stores it varies.

Now the most recent time in store I think the cheapest I saw was $35. Online sales are probably $50 range or so. At $50 you might as well pay an extra $25 and get RRL on eBay.

Same here, got some khaki ones. I think i'm going to go for the Blue ones (Lighter Blue).

Think I'm also gonna grab one of the Varsity Cardigans, just not sure which one/color. (leaning towards the green one)

Also gonna grab the blue gingham sport shirt. Some socks, maybe the piped fleece blazer too, maybe...

Trying to not spend over $400 but still get a few key pieces.

I also saw: http://www.rugby.com/shop/item.aspx?productId=12296584&categoryId=3372176&cp=3138868

It looks pretty keen, apart from the capped hoodie - sorta want it, but $ better used someplace else..

Without that i'm at 441 (330 after 25% off) - I think I can fit one more cardigan/shirt/chino

- Green Varsity Cardigan, 3 pairs of socks, Blue Chinos, Repp Tie, Tie bar and Tie Pin, Blue Gingham Shirt.

I might drop the socks since those usually end up cheaper and are not of importance. Then i can fit in a few more things that are more important.

*This is how I think before purchases - got 2 more days to finish thinking

Are you talking of GIVE2012 code?

It doesn't work for me...I'll wait the mid-season sale, should be on end of april like the RL private sale, right?

Tomorrow I should receive the waxed cotton peacoat, I'll post pics.

I ordered the blue gingham shirt too and a pair of khaki chinos. Was contemplating a navy blazer for my son but decided to wait for a bigger discount.

Navy Blazers don't usually get discounted much more. I almost never seem to see them on sale. Lets cross our fingers because i really want one.
