ON what last are the Camdens constructed?
82 Edit: Checked my notes at home and I was mistaken. The 89 last is used for the Camden.

Not sure if it has already been said, but a friend of mine works at the Ralph Lauren store here in Palo Alto. The sale has actually been going on since Monday, but the additional 15% (on top of the 40%) will be on Thursday only. The selection is not limited at all, and as hard as it is to believe, include everything currently in the store (other than a select few items I believe). This includes all of the different colored solid stripe PL shirts from this season, shoes, etc. Only problem is that here in Palo Alto, they only have one model of PL shoes: Bentley Driver Mocs.....

Also keep in mind that you have to have gotten the additional 15% coupon in the mail to get the discount, unless you are really nice [IMG]

You also have to be an RL mailing list member to be able to go to the sale in general.

If you need anymore info. feel free to ask........

Maybe, maybe not. Let's just say that the extra 15% is also being honored in advance, in select cases.[IMG]

^^ True; I guess it could be different at each store? Either way, they seemed pretty lax about the whole thing......never hurts to ask for an extra 15%

I have a new pair of the EG Pitney Lawns in Dark Oak (606 last) that I will sell you. They are size 7.5/8E.

Thanks for your kind offer, alas, not my size. [IMG]

Just back from some polo reconnaissance at the San Francisco store and the sale is going on right now. Practiacally everything is on sale. I was even offered the 15% off today and Thursday (they're like drug dealers). I have a pair of the EG Perrings on hold (the only Purple Label they carry) and a few small items.

A couple of questions from an EG uninitiated:

    1) Are all of the Purple Label shoes typically EG manufacture? Basically, if they're expensive ($850+) and "Made in England" they are EG?

    2) How do the EG sizes run as compared to the C&J? I have Darlton wingtips in 8.5D. Should I aim for the same size on the Purple Label shoes, or shoot a half size above or below?

Unfortunately, there is no store nearby, so I have to either guess well, or order two pair and return one.

    Thanks!

Order an 8.5 and a 10UK and send me the one that doesn't fit.

Different 40%-off sale. The one on Polo.com when you simply click "Sale" has been going for months. That is simply their regular "Sale" section and is unaffiliated with the current week-long store sale.

So the in-store sale isn't available online? I wonder if the Polo in the Galleria will be having a sale as well.

Oh, ok. If the sale is b&m only then I am out by default. No RL shops around here that have the good stuff.

No, I think there will be an online markdown, it just hasn't happened yet. The current website "Sale" is simply for clearance items.
