Hey everyone.

I have some Ralph Lauren Polos, but just had a look at some Bobby Jones pima cotton polos. They're both similar in price, but the Bobby Jones shirts seemed so much softer and had a fine thread feel to them.

was wondering if anyone else has any Bobby Jones items, not just polo shirts, but dress shirts, pants, etc..and felt the same way or otherwise?

Bobby Jones polos are fairly good if you like the styling.

For high end polos, check out RLPL, Fred Perry, Joseph Abboud, and others, a search might do you well here.

The Bobby Jones stuff is very nice. I just saw a pair of cords at Marshalls that feel identical to a pair of Polo Made in Italy I have. The polos are more golf polos, though. I feel like RL polos are clearly more casual. I usually wear them untucked with shorts, jeans, or khakis. Nicer polos by Bobby Jones and Joseph Abboud, however, are cut differently. They seem to be longer and intended to be tucked in. Also, my one Joseph Abboud shirt is dry clean only, even though it's pima cotton.

The best polo I've seen is from Brunello Cuccinelli. I bought one, which is unfortunately too long, but the cut is very nice and took 20 pounds off instantly. If you're tall and skinny I highly recommend them.
