I have been following along, inhaling this bottomless cup of style information and banter for a whle now, so I thought it was time to join in on the fun. I am thinking of getting the shoes listed in the title, the Ralph Lauren Malvern hiking boots. What does everybody think? Are they good quality? I will not be actually hiking in them...that is what my Asolos are for. http://www.amazon.com/Ralph-Lauren-M.../dp/B001YYHHA2 Any help would be appreciated. Also, I thought about purchasing the Made in USA RL turin penny loafer, but am a bit leery of sizing? Any ideas if they run true to size, small, or large? Dustin

In these parts it's cold and snowy. Those boots would be good for this weather, but not for much else IMO.

They are much better in brown. Check the polo site. I saw them in person at the SCP store. Not bad, but in my opinion, not worth it. Check Blackbird or Context instead.

These are decent SW&D boots, but I wouldn't wear them with a suit.

This kind of thing is favored by 50 year-old pharmacists vacationing in Vermont.

Not a big fan of the strap/buckle on those and the RL Ranger boots.
