I am looking at a cable knit cashmere sweater. Is black label more slim than purple label? What is the quality difference between the two? Is it substantial? $100 price difference between the two. I am unsure which one to go with.

I prefer slim but what about quality? The PL is made in Italy. I am guessing the BL cashmere is made in Italy as well. Would quality be similar to PL? If so I might as well go with BL.

Nothing special about rlbl cashmere. They are super thin and soft. First day it left whole heaps of residue on my white shirt. They are extremely slim. I mean it. You only buy rlbl because of the fit not because of quality. I'm super skinny and a small cashmere v neck fits like a glove- unlike any other brands. Good luck if you can pull off rlbl.

Anyone familiar with how RLBL suit cuts vary? I think the Anthony is pretty common but how do the Austin, Nigel, etc. compare?

Maybe they're just not made commonly enough to get critiqued?

I believe Austin has severely tapered pants among other features. Tried it on but the pants were way too tight. I like to run and pants were too slim. Anthony fits like a glove. Have two and love them. No idea on Nigel.

Austin is shorter and the pants are slimmer

Daniel and Nigel are both less padded (vs. Anthony), don't remember what's the exact difference between Daniel and Nigel though I like both more so than Anthony these days

Nigel has a softer shoulder than the Anthony Cut & is half-lined or unlined. Conversely, Anthony is has a stronger shoulder. Thats atleast my experience. Both nice, and both drop 7. The Anthony will give you more room in the shoulders, & approximately the same in the waist. 44R Anthony fits me well, I had to size up to 46R in Nigel, but take in the body.

Has anyone seen this on a long sleeve polo item before, or did someone add it?

Looks like a yacht-shaped car with a loudspeaker attached at the top.

Perhaps a metaphysical representation of the polo pony? :)

Yeah. There's so much weird polo shit that it didn't seem weird at first but I passed it up.

Its not C&J - it is made in Italy. I have those loafers in navy, burgundy & the polo suede you posted above. I am not sure who makes them, but I can say I like them: they're comfortable. They, however, are blake welted, which may or may not be an issue for you. Definitely not C&J

I could be mistaken, but the rise on the Austin suit I tried felt just a tiny bit higher than the Anthony suits I have. I say this because in Anthony I absolutely need a long for the sake of trouser rise, whereas the Austin pants were high enough on a regular suit (just a bit too fitted in the seat). However the difference is negligible, particularly for someone who plans to rely on the side tabs and not also wear braces.

I've been able to score some pretty solid deals on Black Label Anthony suits in navy and black. Each one ended up coming to $500, and there seemed to be a good amount of sizes left. I'm debating picking up either the Sharkskin or Drake Nailhead (if I can find it), but wanted to get opinions on which one would be better if I had to live with one grey suit.

Anyone seen the Nailhead fabric in person?
