Does anyone have any experience with Ralph Lauren custom/made to measure suits? If so, could you share your experience? What type of selections and choices were you offered? Cut/fit/shape of jacket/suit, materials, fabric, lining, color/stripes options, etc.

Tonnes of options available. I recommend you specify what you're looking for in terms of fit and fabric.

Simon of Permanent Style did a Brioni bespoke review and something that stuck out to me was that he felt RLPL MTM had a more broad selection of fabrics while Brioni was focused on hyper lux fabrics.

As far as styles, I'm not sure what's offer in addition to what's featured online. The three jacket styles currently offered online are the following:

Gregory: Replacing the Anthony, lightly padded, roped shoulder, narrow lapel. English influenced, Italian made.

Kent: Softer shoulder jacket

Hadley: Unpadded jacket

Ralph: Heavier pad, more broade shoulder. Double breasted only I think.

If you're serious about buying you could request a remote appointment if you don't live near a store.

I believe Polo MTM is still available at the SoHo location and RRL on Broadway.

This is a good summary. A few points:

- The Ralph cut is single breasted as well.
- The Gregory has very thick and stiff shoulder pads
- There’s also the Douglas model, which I believe is exclusive to department stores. It also has thick shoulder padding, but is softer than the Gregory.

Thanks for this. That's disappointing to hear it's a stiffer pad, they describe it on as soft and lighter than a standard English shoulder on their site. I'm looking to add an addition plain navy suit to my rotation and want one with a soft light pad.

Then Kent is your best bet. It’s a great model.
