NOTE: For the love of God I am kidding, I am kidding... no plans to use a remotely equine logo.

20 young rappers hardly make up the entire youth market, do they? Jon.
I don't know. Do 20 crotchety old white dudes make up the entire geriatric market?

Before this degenerates into a sociological and racial war I want to make perfectly clear that when I referred to RL's predominance in the urban youth market I was comenting only on marketing strategy with no insult intended toward any target market. It is a viable strategy - producing lower quality items to make their pricepoint accessible to a large target group with emphasis on the logo and brand recognition. I'm simply saying that I love what RL does on the high end and would love to see them focus more attention there. He needs to make a flame resistant kevlar line just for forum goers

sidetrack: Was Jay-Z wearing RLPL at the grammy's last night? I couldn't find a picture with his coat on, here's one at the afterparty. I instantly thought RLPL (probably because he was wearing a purple tie and purple shirt), but still, that would be a cool coincidence.

I dont really care what Jay-Z is wearing with Beyonce right there like that... BTW, you can thank Cam'Ron for making purple the new pink in hip-hop culture.

Agree completely. The unconditional adoration of 60s style has been a thing in the urban youth crowd for years and it is unlikely to die out any time soon. RL made the right move with this line, for sure.
