I really like the crisp fabric patterns and the shape of the spread collars on the Black Label shirts. This simple blue striped one, for instance, is great:

I'd probably be a size medium (15-15.5 neck). I have pretty broad shoulders, a 40 inch chest, and a 34 inch waist.

My question: Has anyone with a build similar to mine fit well into a Black Label medium? In other words, do the shirts fit broad shoulders and do they taper well to a slim build? I've found that dress shirt sizing can be pretty hit or miss for me.

Also, the styles that are listed on the site right now don't jump out at me like the one above. Know of any places I could buy slightly older styles?

I picked up a couple at the Ralph Lauren store here in San Francisco a few days ago (for $75 a pop). The ones I got were marked as a 15.5” collar with no indication of sleeve length, but I felt like the sleeves were about 35" when I tried them on. I thought the 15.5” fit as tight in the neck as my 16” shirts from TM Lewin.

The fit is very tailored. I am pretty skinny (6'1", 160 lbs, 33" waist) but have fairly broad shoulders (I can squeeze into a 40L in the black label suits), and I felt like they fit me pretty well, though I won't be showing much cuff in these as my preferred sleve lenght is 35.5". Very slim fit in the arms and body, very tapered. If you have large biceps, they may not work well.

Good to know. I'm slightly shorter than you (5'11''), so I should be able to handle the sleeves

black label is more of a modern fit; so its more taller/slimmer i guess

i'm a 15.5 neck 36 waist and 42 chest and I wear a medium, I might try a small for you. if you are a 15 neck then a medium will be to big for you.

But the chest size of the small isn't enough for me (only goes up to a 36, instead of 40).
