Ralph Lauren Black Label fit Critique

Hello All,

Hopefully this is the correct forum for this, but I have been in the market for a new suit, and would like to find something that "Entry Level Good to Upper Level Average" rating in the hierarchy that I have found in the ratings.
I had partially planned to make a trip to Chicago area to get fitted for a MTM suit from Suit Supply. Before Ihead over there, I decided to make a quick stop at the Ralph Lauren store to try out the Black Label suit, as this seems to get great reviews on this forum.
As I tried this on, I quickly fell in love with the fit, and am feeling like I should just save the trip to Chicago, and try to get something from the black label sale that will be happening over the next few weeks.

I will post a few pics below, could you critique the fit, as my wife and I's "newbie" view to suit fit seemed to think it was great right off the shelf (minus pants hemmed, sleeve length adjustments).

Please let me know your thoughts, I am very open to criticism as this can go directly to the tailor if I decide this direction?
Also will I find a fit this nice from a suit supply?

FYI - I am not the least bit sold on a plain black, just the first one I found on the rack in my size, I will rather probably be subject to whatever goes on sale from last season.

Thanks,
Bob

It sits on your shoulder well, but is pulling at the mid section and back. So a tailor would have to let it out a bit.

Also, since the shirt isn't buttoned up to the top, it's hard to tell if there's collar gap. You should try it on with a tie to see how it looks.

Length of the jacket looks good.

It's better than Suit Supply, and a good deal during sales.

Thanks! Ended up buying that identical suit as NWT on eBay for a great deal.
I will take it to the tailor today, and provide suggestions and repost pics when it is done!
Thanks again,
Bob

The RLBL cut doesn't work on you. (Drop 8/9) Too tight in the midsection.
