Raised heels on shoes

Yes or no? I saw an awesome pair of no-name wholecuts, but they come with odd-looking heels. I assume they would make me look marginally taller, but unless someone stares at my shoes no one can tell?

Nice clogs, but the heel does look odd. I guess it would look great with italian high-water trousers. Don't forget to get spalla camicia with that. To go.

Seriously though, I really like the style, just can't get myself to come to grips with those heels.
