I thought cordovan develops "bumps" when it gets wet. Would those bumps disappear without much effort later?I agree about the suede, but not the cordovan. Â Shell cordovan is perfect for foul weather. Â As it is a membrane, not a hide, it is fiberless; naturally waterproof. Â Not to mention the heavy waxes 'stuffed' into it during the tanning process. Â
I need a good pair of rain/snow shoes for the winter. I can't wear my suede or cordovan shoes in foul weather. I'm thinking of Wellies or these rain boots.Originally Posted by Mike C.
