Hello gentlemen,

I was the recipient of the $200.00 gift card and I just received my package today. The card was to:

Here's what I ended up getting:

I got a pair of Common Projects White Achilles sneakers, a P. Johnson pocket square and a copy of Monocle magazine. I've wanted a pair of the CP Achilles for a long time but they were always out of my price range. This allowed me to put $200 towards a pair, and pick up a couple of other things as well. The reason I was chosen to receive the card is that my wife and I are moving to Los Angeles within the next couple of months so that I can pursue a Master's degree at a seminary. I'm currently residing in the Portland, OR area and have a good job. However, it's my dream and calling, if you will, to be involved in full-time ministry. I recently applied to seminary in Los Angeles and got accepted, so we are making the move. Los Angeles is significantly more expensive than Portland, so the amount of money I'll be able to spend on clothes will be very limited. I'll also only be able to work part-time, so money will be very tight for the next few years.

Thanks so much to the gracious (anonymous) donor. I really appreciate your kindness and generosity. Also, thanks to @Cleav for putting this together. You SF guys are pretty great. I'm learning a lot from many of you and appreciate being a part of this community.

Hello all,

I am a recent graduate who is trying to create a formal work wardrobe (I work in higher education) while paying back my student loans and other expenses. Getting nice clothes has been difficult due to student loans and other expenses that come up as a young, recent grad.

I am interested in suiting, blazers/SC's, pants and shirts. I currently have a pretty weak wardrobe of dress clothes because of being young and a recent graduate.

My current measurements are between a 38-40 in jacket (slimmer and long the better), 15.5 34 in shirts, and about a 32/32 in pants. I'm 6'1 170, so I'm long and skinny and have long arms (I need about 25 inches in sleeves).

Thank you for any help you might be able to give!

I have this jacket up for grabs. It's a nice casual jacket for the warmer months. I could donate this at the local Goodwill but it is a nice jacket IMO and I thought someone here perhaps would appreciate it more. If there is no interest in 1 to 2 weeks then perhaps I was wrong about this the whole time and I will pull this listing down. Feel free to PM me with questions. Cheers!

Does anyone want a grey/silver silk knit tie ?(7 or 8cm wide) Willing to let go for free (just pay shipping). Otherwise I'll probably throw away.
Also have a 6cm wide forest green.

[Replacing most of my ties.]
