Nice summer suit. And you need to wear suits more often anyway...

Hehe. Last (and only) time I saw you in a suit was a success. I am sure this one will look great too. (Got enough light blue shirts?)

My budget shirt maker unfortunately doesn't offer linen. So sad.

Thanks. Hopefully it turns out better than the peachy-coloured Isaia suit I bought last year. Also, I'm particular jealous of your linen shirt.

Get a decent shirtmaker. Otherwise this will become your Tetbury II.

But never mind the shirts. For now. I hope you really like the suit when you see it IRL.

I would put them in the following order (best being first):

1a)Caruso for Barneys New York
1b)Caruso for Adriano & Sons
3)Caruso for RLBL

I think the A&S trousers are slightly better than the Barneys (button fly vs zipper for example) but the jackets seem equal in construction. Very well made, especially considering the price. I can't believe it but I just paid full fare (something I rarely do) for a solid navy Caruso for Barneys NY suit. Caruso is the maker for me. I don't see myself needing anything more nor will probably ever be able to afford it. But the construction quality is very high and I like the cuts and most importantly the value the maker provides given its price points relative to other Italian brands/makers.

Can you please talk a little bit about how the Barneys and Adriano cuts differ from the RLBL? Do you prefer the cut of those or the actual construction to the RLBL? Thanks.

solid light/sky blue is such a boring colour especially added to that suit. that and white seem to be the standard dress shirt for 'business'.
get a patterned, stronger hued blue.
