R.L. Rugby university corduroy, thought and experience

I have been looking at these for awhile and was just wondering if anyone has tried them out? looking for somethings slim.

I have their corduroy shorts, which are fantastic. Very silky feel, heavy weight cord. If it's the same fabric, the pants should be nice. The shorts are cut fuller though. http://www.rugby.com/shop/item.aspx?...goryId=3378763

I tried a pair on and they did not fit right in the seat - too tight. Or perhaps my seat is too big. Whatever the reason I did not get them. J Crew fits me much better and appears to me to be just as slim. I am a 34/34 in waist/inseam.
