I want to get another pair of raw jeans now that my Nudies have been well-worn in to an almost silky softness. I like the Ola's cut, and I want something similar but just a tad more straight-leg. Nothing tapered, either.

So I'm trying to decide between these three jeans at about the same ~$100 price point after SF discounts and wondering if any of the denimheads out there can give me advice about durability and fit...

The Hipsters, while true straight legs, appear bootcut when worn. The New Standards are slightly tapered, but they look very straight leg (albeit very slim) when worn. I don't have any experience with the Rescues.

What size are you? I'm a true 31-32 waist and often wear 30's in jean sizes. I've got a pair of the Rescues in a 28, the smallest APC makes I believe, and with the stretch it is even slightly big on me. So if your waist is any smaller, the Rescues are probably right out, whereas you can definitely get the RB6 in a smaller waist.

True 30...Does that go for the hipsters too?

I'm probably wrong, but I thought the Hipsters were women's jeans. They only have two buttons and a super low rise right?

In a true 30, you could get the Rescue sized down 2--I prefer the NS, because they're neater, despite the very slight taper.

Unisex, as are the New Standards and Cures. They are quite low though, only 3 buttons (including the top). I think they use 4 with larger sizes.

The hipster is absolutely not going to work for you. You can't wear that jean if you have any hips or rear if you are male. I would go with the Rescue or RB6.

Rag&Bone jeans are way above hipsters in terms of quality. Their jeans are ass to get any fades though. Almost all of my jeans are R&B, and they hardly show any change after over 3month of hard wear. They are great jeans, but I wouldn't recommend them if you are looking to get fades on your jeans.

I have both RB6s and Rescues, and while I wear both often, I like the RB6s more. The denim feels different than any other jean I have owned, and I love it. I guess it is kind of hard to get fades in, but oh well.
