Haven't had a chance to try it, I plan on listening tonight before bed. I will report back.

Javyn, I quite smoking in December and have satisfied my cravings with those electronic cigarettes. Now there's debate on whether I'm cheating that way but I first used those e-cigs a lot at first and now use them maybe once every two days and I haven't smoked a cig since then.

Do the rubber band around the wrist thing, except, instead of pulling a rubber band, clench your fist as if to punch something.
And instead of your wrist, use *********.

When you feel like smoking a cigarette, punch yourself in the dick.

On a serious note, good luck dude. The more you try to quit over time, the easier gets, I've heard. All the best.

if you don't have a good reason to quit, you won't. if you're just doing it because, hey why the **** not, it's likely you'll be back on the tar in some time.

but who am I to judge

I have good reasons to quit, many of them. Main reason though is it is interfering with my exercise regimen.

Been listening to this Bonetti CD before bed, I pass out so I never remember any of it, but it must be doing something, I'm smoking considerably less now.

That's excellent!! The urge should continue to whittle away from a combination of the hypnosis and your own free will. I found with the nail-biting, the effectiveness grew every time I listened to it (Bonetti recommends a minimum of 21 consecutive nights).

Since I've got you here, do you mind quickly weighing in on this supplement for me? You're the one that originally referred me to Spirulina about 2 years ago and this seems like a nice all-encompassing blend

(Sorry if this derails the thread, if you'd rather PM please feel free)

Smoking is an addiction / Nicotine is one of the most addictive substances and extremely hard to quit. As you quit you'll have cravings. Call people for support when you want to smoke, use lollipops, etc. Over time it will fade but the withdrawal is a *****...

Thanks again! And no trouble on the Spirulina. I have no experience with this brand, but from the looks of it, Spirulina is way down on the list of ingredients. Kelp, kale, etc is very good for you, but not nearly as good as straight spiru or chlorella. I'd go for a powder form of either for most bang for your buck.

NOW brand Spirulina is good, and Vitamin Shoppe has their own brand that is of equal quality to NOW for around 20 bucks a pound. I'd definitely go that route, and just mix a teaspooon with apple juice every morning. You get used to the taste, and actually start to crave it, at least I did.

Oh yeah, if you get the powder to "mix", don't actually mix it with a spoon, it clumps and is very difficult to stir into the juice or water. But, pouring water or juice into a jar, then a teaspoon of algae on top of that, then closing the lid and shaking mixes it very well and very fast, and cleanup is easy. Best way to take it I've found.

Once I actually am able to go a day w/o smoking, going to get back on the spirulina to detox.
