Since long ago I was craving for 50$ eBay restoration project. Featuring C&J Audley.

Hi there! Was this a GMTO or a one off MTO? They look stunning.

Got them from another member. They were a special make-up from a shop in Germany I think. I tried to get them, but the store wouldn’t ship to the U.S. As luck would have it, another SF member bought them but they didn’t fit. Of course I jumped at the opportunity.

Very nice! Care to share what you used?

I had to use 100% acetone to strip all the old and cracked wax layers. Closer to the Leather I switched to Saphir renomat. Surprisingly the quality of the handgrade Leather is so high that chamberlains Leather milk + Saphir cream + 2 layers of Medaille d'Or wax restored all the color back.

Thanks. They’re simply fantastic.

I would love for my Whiskey Harlechs to have been the (light) shade of yours. But that’s how it is with shell, I guess, you never really know what they’ll look like. And I still love mine.
Same here.
Have yours always been that lighter shade @stephenaf2003 or have they become lighter over time?
