Nice Pembroke article on Claymoorslist blog
I have something similar for Purdey
I use in winter, more like a shoe version
of the Coniston though but nice
pebble grain like the Pembroke
I think that Pembroke serves several styles all in one. Would be very sharp with tweed pants in the fall.
Im cycling though my shoes, looking to see which one's serve each purpose. For winter, I live in a cold climate,
I have the Purdey's, Snowdon and a pair of brown shell Frye ankle boots.
Hello everyone, I'm looking to purchase my first pair of C&Js and have a question on sizing. I'm looking at the Coniston on the 325 last. For reference I am a 10.5d on the Alden trubalance and 10.5d on Red Wing #8 (Iron Ranger). Based on that do you think 10.5d on the 325 is a good place to start?
Thank you!

I assume you mean UK10.5E. E is their medium width. I think that's going to be too big.
