It's Thursday. Taking a mental break this week so not posting as much.

Wearing my Galway 2's today. The only thing pretty here are the shoes.

I switched the GG laces from my Alden Indy's to these. They seem to fit better here.

Looking good. I actually liked the look of those laces in the Indys too. Was thinking of putting a pair in mine as well.

The GG looked good on the Indy, but I thought they distracted my gaze from the red hues in the Chrome XL leather. Just trying to find the right balance.

That fair. Last year I had the GG flat whiskey laces in my 403 Indys but they are lighter in color than the round GG whiskey ones and the contrast was a bit much. I really like the slightly darker tan color of the round ones.

That's what I was thinking a darker GG lace for the 403 would be about right.

Nothing extraordinary... regular cleanup, renovateur then a hint of wax and water on toes.

Anyone know if the hand grade line contains any additional stiffeners/liners or extended heel counters?
