It’s a reminder that the best shoe is the one that fits you the best.Thank you JayDotz. You saved me a lot of money, and pain by the sounds of it. They were so tight it felt like I had one toe too many.
I had the same issue before when I wanted to buy a GG. Incredible finish, the most beautiful designs and lasts, materials were top notch but so tight and painful to wear. I guess the last shape didn't suit my feet on those either. I was still considering them hoping they would stretch out after wearing.
100%. No point buying an expensive stylish shoe and then not being able to wear it.It’s a reminder that the best shoe is the one that fits you the best.
I saw this beautiful green rough out Coniston which turned out to be a GMTO. I was keen to get in on it but was told it was too late but I could still order it as MTO.
Where did you see the GMTO green roughout Coniston? Did you see multiple pairs, or was it just one for the shop? Asking for a friend… 😉

Cuts on suede are rare, try to move the fibers around to see if it goes away. There shouldn't be a cut deep enough that it splits but markings and scuffs are normal, specially on waxed suede. My first pair of C&Js. Very nice casual boot. Islay and Coniston coming in next. I like it the design a lot but there a couple of cuts on the suede. is this normal? View attachment 1820714 View attachment 1820716 View attachment 1820715

I would not care about those marks on waxed suede. The boots will anyway look quite different after a few wears. And after a treatment with wax you will likely no longer see the marks. My first pair of C&Js. Very nice casual boot. Islay and Coniston coming in next. I just took delivery of some Whiskey Cordovan Pembroke's - what shade of Saphir polish or creme are other Whiskey owners using?
I also do own the Saphir Cordovan Whiskey stuff but have never used it. I always used Saphir Cordovan neutral so far.I just took delivery of some Whiskey Cordovan Pembroke's - what shade of Saphir polish or creme are other Whiskey owners using?
