I own the same pair in 9.5 I need fo breal out and need to sell the 10D pair that were too long. How was the break in process?

Also, where'd those beautiful cords come from?
Break in was no big deal. Very comfortable from the beginning.
Cords are from Marni like 7 years ago.

I am an 8.5E TTS and that is what I take with Alden Grant/Hampton - I was thinking for CJ Coniston I would need 7.5F, but I took 8UK and it its near identical to my 8.5E Grant in length and width. Good fit even though I went down .5 size
Woah. You went .5 size down from Grant/Hampton....I went .5 size down from Barrie & Trubalance and I was close to calling it a sizing mistake. The initial try on was w/ a pair of very thin dress socks, so I tried them on Darn Tough medium/thick socks and it was a good fit. Although, they look slim in profile, on my feet they feel like damn tanks. My Viberg Boondockers on 1035 feel a bit slimmer. I’m a 9.5 Barrie and went w 9UK 325 (Coniston), I was close to believing I needed a 8.5UK. It seems like the toe box is bit tall for my feet and the top of the shaft easily warps my shin to the point their isn’t a gap. I looked at pictures and it seems like this is the case for most Coniston owners.

Here are my UK8 Conistons/325 next to my 8.5E Grant boots. You can see they are about the same length and width.
I am a wide foot, so going UK7.5 would of made them too tight I think. I heard from others that the scotch grain leather CJ uses doesn't stretch much - if at all

Only 3 spots left on Galway 2 Whiskey double leather.. $750 for those are an absolute deal.. Cordovan boots are a grand mostly now or will soon be. Whiskey Harlech’s are $1200 now. These are different.. very cool design.
