Another amen for only dropping down 1/2 size going from US to CJ if you are an American E.

more particularly, I’m a US 10.5E in most AE and Alden non-Barrie lasts and high instep. Dropping down to a CJ 10.0E on the 325 is close to a perfect fit for me.

By the way, my Galway II’s and my AE Longbranches (511) are the most comfortable boots I own. Fit is, indeed, king.

Did you also take 10E on the 82 last with EG Galways?

Have to put it up in the BST part of the forum

Ah, good to know, well if any of you are looking for the Peal Models in Cordovan I should have updated listing up later today.

Also need to show off my country calf pennies and my Conniston Cordovan

Are there models in the 348 wide last?

240 for the pembroke style short wing
240 for the captoe
341 for the plain toe blucher

Size 0.5 from your brannock for many, some people say TTS as they're American numbered

The Black Editions - black roughout waxed suede over a lugged sole. I really like them and a great fit. The laces I was griping about were rather flimsy cotton round ones. Ordered some a while back from Guarded Goods to replace them.

I as well own these and while I love them I am also getting ready to replace the laces. Oddest choice given the rugged nature, they feel like they are ready to snap. I think I got my pair from Barney’s last year (man I miss them), but either way they are the same top to bottom.

Same here.

An odd choice for the Coniston indeed, even for the scotch grain models. However, my biggest gripe is that they are way too long. There is an excess of at least 4" IMO. On that topic, what is a good length?
