Got mine a couple of months agoNo, they came back with the tan laces, the dark waxed laces were the original ones when new 8 years ago. Interesting to know the tan ones are the standard now, I suppose they are less dressy and more country.
Thank! I use the saphir cognac cream and for the toe the saphir dark brown wax. What polish do you use, Braid? They look great, with a nice deep glow

Also my two year old Galway came with the same tan laces
I went to the factory when it reopened after the first lockdown and as far as I know the factory remained openDoes anyone know if the factory store is open again? I have tried to ring but it goes to answerphone. Thanks
I wear 8D or even 8E in Barrie and I find my C&J 325 7.5E at least as roomy as the Alden D-width, maybe a touch more so.Hi guys.
I have a sizing question. Is 325 last as wide as Alden Barrie in the same length? Say 8.5D Barrie vs 8 UK 325?
I have lots of experience with Alden and Viberg lasts but my only C&J experience is with the 365 last. Can anyone chime in?
With the provisos that taking sizing info over the internet is fraught with pitfalls.Hi guys.

I wear a US9E on Barrie, a 9D does not work, too tight. The 325 UK8 is too tight, the UK8.5 325 is a “good” fit just slightly long, the Barrie 9E on the other hand is a perfect fit for my foot, YMMV.
