anyone has experience with 72 last, looks like only retailer carry them (vs. CJ direct), how about just vs. 341?

I have this same pair and they run TTS, I got a 9.5 as a 10 and while it fits okay, it's too snug in the toe. I wear them anyway in hopes of them breaking in. They're an EXCELLENT pair of loafers.

ah if too snug in the toe, then have to pass, oh well...

edit: realize you downsized half, how about instep?

They were perfect every other way, just the elongated toebox that was too slim. It wasn't painful or anything. 100% wearable but after 2 wear the toe was rubbing on the ground and I realised I needed my normal size. They'll be getting toe taps when I can budget it.

I'm presuming you're a US 10D also?

9.5D US, though in general I have issue with toebox width, 348 is too narrow (8.5E UK), upsize too long, same issue with GG (9E UK in MH71 barely works, forget about TG73/DG70). I found my best fitting last in CJ is 341

You're going to be 100% fine, I have as 10D as 10D feet go, at 9.5 they'll fit excellently. The Brooks Brothers last is a mix on American and British lasting, only the shell cordovan models you go half size down.

So I just made another impulse buy when I saw these at BB for $195 out the door. Any feedback or owners here who can share pictures?

They're not worth keeping, felt like basketball shoes, didn't feel like real pebble grain leather

Thanks for the input. Plan just to wear these with jeans on the weekends. Basketball shoes? Semi smooth pebble grain?

Like the leather felt like they skinned a basket and stiched it together. Just didn't feel nice. Wasn't stiff leather, just felt cheap.

I'll check it out when I receive them in two days, and probably return. By any chance, do you have any pics?

Either that, I could have gotten the single monk AE's @ BB..

Sadly no, I was just curious if they were like the penny loafers. Sadly they weren't
