Some differences like Snowdon is Veldt construction and Radnor is not. Snowdon has Commando sole and Radnor has the Ridgeway sole but both boots have the same last. The thing going for Radnor is the Bakers Russian grain leather which is very nice. But if I had to just pick for bad weather I would pick Snowdon Zug or Regular Snowdon.
Radnor 4 price is very nice too now especially if you buy from UK on sale price approx £491.67 ex VAT plus £30 shipping. Otherwise it runs approx $1k in NY store.
I’ve picked up a pair that were in store try on and they were in excellent shape when I got them.I did ask, and haven't seen a response yet. I assumed the worst would maybe be minor try on creasing. They didn't even know my size on initial inquiry so might avoid the issue altogether.
Was just wondering if anyone had done a similar thing w/ them.
Contrary to popular belief, if I had to pick one, it’s not close, the Radnor. At these prices, if they have it in your size get it now, do not pass go, immediately purchase them. You may not get this opportunity again. The Snowdon is always available, the Radnor in russian grain..not so much!Radnor vs Snowdon if one has to pick one ? And why?
I own Islay, Skye 3 and Arran ( Barneys NY) oh and Eskdale arriving any day.
Thank you,
Found some old pictures when I had first tried the Radnor 4 in Russian Grain and I was there at the store to drop off my handgrade shoes for resole.I’d love to see more photos of the Radnor!
I received list below from the lovely Ms. Pernilla Searle. Hoping to get a pair of Radnor, if available in my size.

It’s one of the most enjoyable experiences of owning these particular boots, that only a shoe lover can understand.Another Russian Leather Radnor buyer here. I thought they had been discontinued and no longer available, I couldn’t resist given that they are on sale too. I have been on the look out for a Russian leather boot for awhile now, I am looking forward to opening the box and getting that first smell.
Congrats. Yep they've been discontinued, which is precisely why they're on sale. I'd inquired about availability back in March, but decided to wait and take a chance they'd still be available in my size during C&J Summer saleAnother Russian Leather Radnor buyer here. This right here is the pair that got me hooked on Russian grain leather. Seeing @nishant and @caffed's IG posts just reinforced the "need". The Radnor is also my first pair of boots with Ridgeway soles, so one more thing to look forward to.It’s one of the most enjoyable experiences of owning these particular boots, that only a shoe lover can understand.

I have two similar pairs, one on the 324 (one of my favorite pair of boots), and the other on the 224.
